I don’t control what the vendor marketing guys say.
If you’re expecting “technically correct” from them, you’ll be doomed to disappointment.
The only time I disagree with this is when the business is substituting “AI” in for “machine learning”. I’ve personally seen that work in applications where traditional methods don’t work very well (vision guided industrial robot movement in this case).
You can give a fuck about the topic, without giving a fuck about the current conversation.
My first thought was that online gaming has had a non-zero effect on this. Yeah you can be playing with your friends, but I don’t believe it is capable of replacing actually being in the same room as them.
I don’t currently use a VPN provider, but when I do, it now won’t be VPNSecure.
Also worth noting: in most areas, that price is exceptionally cheap for what he got, even for the time.
Depends on what the goal ends up being. If they try to create (and actuallyenforce) some regulations around AI, I could see that being an endeavor that would occupy a full time position.
500M probably could buy that, but what would that cost look like in comparison with using GitHub? When you are on a fixed income, making decisions based purely on philosophy becomes a luxury.
You’re free to do whatever you like, but I really can’t imagine cutting myself off of seeing most of the world, simply because of a bunch of theoreticals. I fly fairly often for work and I’ve not even experienced half of those (I’m not even sure what problem you might have with airport limos). Most of those issues are easily avoided anyway, since they are a product of your own planning.
For an honest answer, it’s because the green circle is too abstract. The others are numbers everyone sees on their paycheck.
When the people end up with nothing left to lose, things tend to get exceptionally shitty for a few generations. Then it’s a die toss to figure out if what comes after that is any better or not.
Doesn’t even need tariffs. Could just take away their tax exemption.
I just want static html webpages back. The sheer volume of scripts that run just to display text these days drives me nuts.
Uh huh. All evils in the middle east are Israel’s fault. And if not them, than the Americans. Sunni vs Shiite violence has killed more people in the area than the Americans and Israelis combined, and started over a 1000 years ago, but somehow that’s the Americans and Israelis fault too.
But hey, don’t let reality’s shades of grey ruin your pretty black and white imaginary picture.
So, ignoring the fact that “Muslim” describes one’s faith, not race, do you honestly believe that a Muslim majority Palestine is going to drastically more tolerant than all the other Muslim majority countries in the area? What signs are there that would point to that being the case?
I’m not. I never was. I have no idea why you keep bringing it up.
Do you not read the context of comments you replied to? The guy I was responding to specifically said he hopes that what’s happening to Palestinians happens to the Israelis.
It’s cold enough to be concerned about ice on the road, which is more relevant information than fahrenheit ever provides.
The whole “0 is cold, 100 is hot” argument is just a subjective preference anyway. Having 100 as your “hot” point instead of 38 doesn’t provide any actual benefit. It’s just a number you’re used to.
Nah. American individuals are fine.
That being said, regardless of what any government bodies decide, I will never be one.
